FINALLY, A NEIGHBORHOOD PARK AT PRINCETON LAKE

Princeton Lake, which is located within a 29 acre lot in the Princeton Lakes Development (formerly known as Redwine Lake) is not only the training site for WaterSki Altanta, but the land around the lake is being turned into a non-profit, 501-3c, privately managed, community park for residents of South West Fulton County.

Competitive water skiing already takes place on the waters of Princeton Lake through WaterSki Atlanta, and no other types of boats or water craft are allowed on the lake due to liability reasons.

The property around the lake will be turned into a community park for local residents. A parking lot has been developed as well as a .82 mile walking, jogging, and fitness trail around the lake. Benches and gazebos will be erected around the shoreline as well as a 50 seat pavilion with BBQ grills that can be reserved online, free of charge, for family functions.

Our fund raising efforts are well underway to find investors that will take an interest in developing this much needed park on the south west side of Atlanta.

Until then, the .82 mile trail around the lake is open to public foot traffic, but cleanup work needs to be done in order to make the trail accessible due to severe overgrowth.

Bank fishing is allowed at Princeton Lake as long as you make an annual donation of $250 to the Princeton Lake Fishing Club and become a fishing club member.  No other boats or watercraft are permitted on the water.
